The Biggest Coffee Morning in the World for Macmillan Cancer Relief
Our local MP Meg Hillier and Akosua are enjoying a cuppa at our Hackney church in the biggest coffee morning in the world for Macmillan Cancer Relief. We were one of the many venues for ten years. The Hackney coffee morning raised £375 in 2005 and £400 in 2006 for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Following the deaths of Gladys in 2005 and Doris in 2007, the September 2007 coffee morning was held in the home of Elizabeth, the daughter of Doris and raised £147.

her grandson, Sascha and Stephen. George enjoys a cuppa and Marjorie is selling groceries from the harvest festival.
Olivene is with Connie, who has just finished leading her 'Musical Bumps' class for young children.
Joyce, who served the teas and coffees is with Susan, who visited us from Crewe and Elizabeth is with the cakes.
