Dalston Music
Below are the Dalston choir and Sydney on the new organ. Anthony leads the singing of Charles Wesley's great hymn, 'And Can It Be?' during a Kofi & Ama collection (put into one of seven baskets, depending on the day of the week when born). De'Ann, De'Andre & Jordan try out the drums while Stacey & Ella play the piano.
Dalston Garden Party
Food is an important part of our summer Garden Party. Here is James barbecuing the sweetcorn, Doreen serving the curried goat and Inez enjoying the fish. Icilda is guessing the weight of the cake.
Pictured here are four generations of one family. From back left to front right, there is Jenny, her mum Loleta, sister Diane, niece Morgan (Diane's daughter), and grandmother Miriam. Miriam came to Britain from Jamaica in 1959 with Loleta following in 1962. There are a further five members from the same family in our Dalston church.
