Stephen's Film Review - The Simpsons Movie
The Simpson’s Movie is such an interesting movie and truly one of the most incredible films to watch. There are some fascinating things that happened in the film and some of these things are the problems that we are facing in the world today, such as global worming.
Early on The Simpsons team shows their nerve by making Homer wonder out loud why anyone would pay to buy a cinema ticket to watch what they could see on TV free — the underlying question of the whole big-screen adaptation. In Homer’s view, anyone who pays for cinema tickets to watch a TV show is a sucker. Jabbing his finger at the audience, he declares: “Particularly you!”
I would like to talk about this movie from my religious point of view and aIso in general view. This series of the Simpsons let me understand how christians want a straight answer when they pray to God and it’s not just chritians who seem to want an answer straight away when they ask for something. It was one Sunday when simpsons family were in church with other church members when something was happening to the old man in the simpsons family. This little boy (Bart) from simpsons family said to his dad (Homer) to do something. As the boy said that Homer opened bible and flipped through some pages and said ‘oohhhhh men this book doesn’t seems to have an answer’.
The people in springfield were told that the town has been cleaned so no one should drop litter on the ground and in the water where people used to drop rubbish and dumps.
It appeared that Homer had some container and her wife insisted he should get rid of it and unsurprisingly he had nowhere to drop it but in the water where people were told not to drop things into. A Few day later things began to go wrong for the whole town. The local government covered the whole town with some big glass so that no one could get out of the town.
No one was able to get out of the town for weeks. People in the town became so distressed but later on the container that Homer dropped in the river was discovered and unsurprisingly with his name on it. This made the entire town angry with Homer even his own family were angry about what he did and were going to burn him and his family. They were so fortunate that they found some way out and were able to sneak through some small hole to get out of the town.
Although they managed to get out of the town, yet police were still after them. So they had to run to a different town but they were still wanted in the rest of the towns. At last they found some place to settle. A few days later while they were watching the news, they heard that the authourities in the town is going to drop a bomb in the town so that all the people in Springfield will die. When they heard about it they were so furious and decided to go back to springfield afterall it their fault that those people are going to get killed. But Homer insisted there is no way he is going back because he is happy at where he is. Well his wife (Marge) wanted to go back and do something so he left with the children while Homer was away. When Homer came back home she was angry but had no other option but to follow them and go with them.
Suddenly the bombs were about to be drop into the town when they got there but it was very difficult task for him to get in and do whatever he can to stop them from distroying the town and the people.
Even though Homer's idea was to go to Springfield and help but anytime he tried to help, he seemed to make things even worse. For instance, the time for the bomb to deternate was 20 minutes and he did something and the time dropped to 10minutes. There were fews seconds left when Homer had an idea that he used some time ago when he was in a competition and behold this idea helped and the whole town was save.
Despite the fact that this movie was a catoon, there is something great that everyone who watches this movie can achieve, well if not fun or jokes you could achieve some piece of advise but I achieved it all.
