The internal design was influenced by Le Corbusier's church of 1955, Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, France. This can be seen in the windows <i>(above right)</i> with their distinctive colours and shapes. This pattern is similar to the shapes of recesses at the front of the church <i>(above left)</i>. The recesses and the light decor reflect the style of buildings in middle east countries, particularly the catacombs of the early church. The recesses are lit from the inside with night lights. The outside of the church <i>(left)</i> was designed by FreeForm, a community arts project, in consulation with the church. Pictures drawn by children are etched into the windows (<i>left</i> partially in the shade).</p> <br/> <h3 class="greenhead">Hackney Links</h3> <p><a href="http://www.thamesreach.org.uk/what-we-do/first-contact/">Hackney 180</a> - Thames Reach's Hackney 180 have been providing services at the church.
