Pictures 2: The World Cup in Hackney
In our multi-cultural borough, not only are many England flags flying, but also flags from other World Cup nations. In Hackney Circuit, the young people usually support England and the countries where their families come from. Jessica (below left) has family from Guyana so is also supporting Brazil as a fellow South American nation. Sinmi (same picture) still can't believe Nigeria didn't qualify but is enthusiastically supporting England. Also shown are the flags from Ghana, Germany, Trinidad & Tobago, Spain, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, France, Italy & Czech Republic.
